From the very beginning this shoot was full of terrific little "extras" that we photog's LOVE:
Props (couch circa 1860's, old fashioned stick pony, vintage footstool), colorful tutus, great location-Gregory Orchard and Orchard Country Store, adorable Family, and great July weather...

Miss Chelsea was an AMAZING model and little Kendall is everything you love about little girls about to turn 2. Once bribed with an apple, it was smooth sailing from there!

Monrovia High School Senior Colleen Hadley

Beautiful. Funny. Energetic. Spunky. Hopeful.

Colleen had an amazing smile and a great attitude as soon as we started shooting. Her brave mother Mary Fran, sisters Sara and Rachel and I took quite a few twists and turns off the beaten path to get some shots of her this past week. It was (as the has been the trend lately) hot and muggy. But as I soon found out mom and the dynamic duo of Rachel and Sara were there to keep Colleen cool and make sure "everything" was in it's place. [special thx to my reflector holder, Rachel]

I can't wait to finish proofing all your images! I hope you love them...

The Hudson Fam

This was probably the most impromptu session I have done and maybe one of the best! We were in Cinci for the weekend visiting Kraig's grandpa and going to the zoo and Kings Island. So I texted Renae and they Hudson's were up for the challenge! It was warm, but we had a great location in Eden Park. There was quite a crowd at the over look, but we were able to find some great spots! Thanks Chad and Renae for a great session!!

Miss Paisley

It was a hot, muggy afternoon in central Ohio last Saturday when we met up with the Stahlhut's to do Paisley's 1 year session. I can't believe it has been a year since she made her grand entrance. She is adorable and thanks to mom and grandma she is quite the fashionista! We went through 5-6 outfits, 2 hats, 2 bows, and at least 3 flower clips to get this done right. But it was the popsicle that completed the day.

Thanks guys for a fun day (with a trip to the salon included)! The farm is gorgeous...Can't wait to do it again this fall.

Alex.April.Emma.(Oliver).

When I mentioned shooting this session at the Oliver Winery, April agreed completely! I had no idea they were naming their new little guy Oliver.  I was so excited to work with this family's again! They are so fun to hang out with and extremely easy to photograph. April looks terrific pregnant and Miss Emma is already smitten with her new little brother as she without prompting loves to hug and kiss mama's belly. Alex and April seem to have the love of newly weds. Overall, they are an amazing family!

We had terrific weather and a great location. Thanks guys! Looking forward to doing this again in the fall!

MissAva.Summer.2010.

Miss Ava has quite the personality. She is both adorable and sassy. Her momma had her ready to go as soon as she hopped out of the car! She had her smile ready to go, so we had to work on finding natural side...it didn't take long. We hid from the direct sun this morning and got some great shots before the heat of the day made shooting too unbearable.

Thanks Melissa, Ava and Cicily for spending the morning with us at the farm...hope to see you all again soon!

I have been friends with the Stewart family for a very long time. I was so excited when Steph texted me that they were available (FINALLY) to do a mini-session day! I have worked with her gorgeous team at KW here in town and was super excited to photograph her adorable kiddos! The curly blonde locks, big blue eyes and fun personalities were loving the camera...
